The health information on wecaresupport.org is written to help families and adults understand psychological evaluations and make informed decisions. Every service page and article is reviewed by a licensed clinician before it is published, is based on current clinical guidelines and reputable sources, and is updated when the evidence or our services change.
Who writes our content
Content is written by the We Care Support Services team, drawing on the day-to-day experience of our clinicians in autism, ADHD, learning disability, neuropsychological, forensic and vocational evaluation.
Clinical review
Before publication, each page is reviewed for clinical accuracy by Dr. Moresa Mowatt, Psy.D., licensed school psychologist and founder of We Care Support Services, who has more than 17 years of experience in psychological assessment. Reviewed pages show a “Clinically reviewed by” note with the date the page was last updated.
Sources we rely on
- Diagnostic criteria from the American Psychiatric Association’s DSM-5-TR.
- Government health agencies such as the CDC, the National Institutes of Health (including NIMH and NINDS) and the U.S. Department of Education.
- Professional bodies such as the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Florida statutes, administrative rules and agency guidance for legal and educational topics.
- Peer-reviewed research where relevant.
We link to our main sources at the end of each page so you can read them yourself.
Keeping content up to date
We review our core service pages at least once a year, and sooner when diagnostic criteria, laws, insurance coverage or our own services change. Each reviewed page shows the date it was last updated.
Use of AI tools
We do not publish mass-produced or automatically generated health content. Any tools used to help with drafting or editing are only a starting point; every page is written, checked and approved by people, and clinically reviewed before publication.
Independence and advertising
Our content is not sponsored, and we do not accept payment to mention products or services. We do not post or solicit fake reviews, and we never offer incentives for reviews.
Not a substitute for care
Our content is general information, not medical or legal advice, and it cannot replace an evaluation by a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911.
Corrections and feedback
